Last night and today.

Yesterday, mom came home from work and asked if want to go watch Mammia Mia! I've wanted to watch this movie since or after I've watched the trailer playing in the cinemas and from waf's blog. :)




This is one of the movies which made my mother laughed from the beginning until the end. My brother and I were so surprised about it. It's a bit like Hair Spray or High School Musical. According the mom, the songs played in this movie are Abba's. :D The songs are totally nice.

Today is a public holiday. I woke up at 10.30 AM. I was planning to study from afternoon till night. After I had my lunch, telephone rang and it was cousin. I think mom asked her to bring us out or she asked, which I've no idea. So I changed and waited for cousin to come.

I feel like a lady today. Why? I never shop like a lady as in I don't look at and test clothes. I find testing clothes is boring. All I want is to eat and drink when I'm out. After my cousin who's in UK told me something, so I tried and shopping can be fun. :] I bought two short pants and a little high heels. We shopped from Serusop to Delima. I saw my last year History teacher. ;p

Shop shop till half. Mom said,"Jh, you've ttn ltr right?" I went,"OH YEAH, I FORGOT!" so I got back home at 4. showered. ate a little. rest. then went to ttn. Ttn is at 5 but I arrived the ttn at 4.45 - 4.50 like that. Steady hor? hahaha. =p

Dammit, the weather is so cold today. Last Thursday, 11.09.2008, I attended my cousin's advanced 21st birthday party at Seri Kemayan. Let the pictures entertain you. ^^

A week from now.

Last Monday, I skipped tuition. EH EH, don think anything else first. I got reason one okay? HAHA. =p I went to cousin's house then mom brought us to airport to send a cousin to mine who got scholarship. Now she's in U.K. :)

Half of First Develpoment Plan (1953 - 1958)

This development plan was introduced in 1953 til 1958 (5 years).
A sum of $100 million was approved by the Brunei State Council for this purpose.
E.R.Bevington from the Colonial Office in Fiji was appointed to handle the plan.

a) Development of Oil Industry
- 1954, survey and exploration work both on land and offshore were carried out by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company (BSPC).
- In 1955, $14 million Gas Plant was completed.
- It was opened on 21 February 1955 by SOAS III.
- 1956, production of oil in the Seria field had reached 114, 700 barrels a day.
- 1957, BSPC handled all the operations.

b) Development in Education
- 1951, a trde school was set up in Seria by BSPC.
- The Brunei Govt and BSPC agreed jointy to meet the cost of running the school.
- Two more trade schools were opened as the needs for the semi-skilled and skilled workers increased.
- In 1954, Brunei set out a written policy on education for the first time. The aim was to ensure the provision of educational facilities for primary and secondary, technical, vocational training and adult education.
- 1956, Brunei Teacher Trading Centre (BTTC) was set up.
- In 1957, the Seria Government School was opened to cater Seria and Belait communities. The school was later renamed as Anthony Abell College (AAC).
- In 1957, two Chinese schools were set up; one in Brunei Town and one in Seria. Technical education was set up to train skilled workers for oil Industry.
- In order to meet the demand for more qualified English-medium teachers, the first batch of Brunei teachers were sent to Kota Bharu Teachers' Training College (KBTC) in 1958.
- 1958, STPRI was set up in Brunei Town.
- Under this development, scholarships were given to students to further studies.

Anscension to Throne

• Soas III was proclaimed the Sultan on 6 June 1950 as 28th Sultan.
• The coronation took place at Lapau on 31 May 1951.
• The guests present during the coronation ceremony were Malcolm MacDonald, Sir Ralph Hone and Sir Anthony Abell.
• During this ceremony, SOAS III was awarded the medal of Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George (CMG).
• In 1953, when SOAS III visited London, he was awarded the Knight Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George (KCMG), which gave him the title "Sir".
• On his ascension to the throne, SOAS III set out to work for an improved standard of living for all his pepole.
• His determination had brought Brunei to international attention and recognition. This earned him the title "The Architect of Modern Brunei."

• He was the 28th Sultan who succeeded his elder brother, Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin.
• He was born on 23rd September 1914 in Kampong Sultan Lama, Brunei Town.
• He ruled Brunei from 1950 to 1967.
• He was the 7th child of Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam II and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Siti Fatimah.
• He received an informal education in the palace like traditional Islamic education (based on reading and memorising the Holy Quran), trained in the traditional Malay self-defense or silat, handicwork and skilled in carpentry, weaving and silversmithing.
• He began his formal education at the age of 18.
• In 1932, he studied at Malay College in Kuala Kangsar, Perak.
• After completing the course at the college (in 1936 - 4 years formal education), he returned to Brunei.
• 6th September 1941, he married Pengiran Anak Damit, who became the Raja Isteri who was the daughter of Pengiran Bendahara Seri Maharaja Permaisuara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman and the granddaughter of Sultan Hashim (25th Sultan).
• His Royal Highness was known as "Penyair Diraja" (Royal Poet) because he showed an interest in Malay Poetry.
• Syairs written by His Royal Highness were: Syair Nasihat, Syair Kemerdekaaan, Syair Asli Rajang Hari, Syair Perlembagaan Negeri Brunei and others refer to textbook. :)

1. He started his career in 1936 as a cadet officer in Forestry Department in Kuala Belait. This job enable him to be closer to the people in villages and remote areas. He was also able to understand the people's problems and their needs.
2. After a year (1937 to 1938), he joined the Judicial Department. Here, he learned about the Criminal and Civil Procedure Codes from the Assistant British Resident, Hughes-Hallet.
3. In 1941, he worked as an administrator in the British Resident's office. He studied English from H.F.Stalley.
4. During the Japanese Occupation, he worked at the Japanese Governeor's Office as a secretary to the Japanese Sub-district Commander, Kimura.
5. In 1947, he was appointed chairman of the Syariah Court and member of Brunei State Council.

Cousins' Day Out

I'm kinda lazy to write a long wordy post now. I'll try to make it short.

I showered. Msged Pj's Nutties. Played the creepy game, Fahrenheit. Someone knocked my house door and I jumped up cos the creepy scene was starting. I looked out and saw cousin's car. I turned off tv and xbox and went Gadong with her. Met up with three more cousins. Ate in Ideal. Well, I didnt really eat just helped to finish their food. 8-)

Walked to the mall. Cousin searching for dress/cloth but three cousins ended up buying jackets. =.= That time was almost 3.30 or 4. So walked up to top floor to get NeoPrint or something. The photo thing for memories before one of the cousins leaves on this coming Monday. After that, went to buy kokoberry drinks then to Utama. Then, I'm here. :)

2wenty 1ne Feb

Well, this is a post dedicated to that guy whom I've known for 4 years now.

Remember the first time where we first met? It was in the library. Well, if you asked me for exact date, sorry I don't but the year was 2004 - you were primary 6 and I was primary 5. That year was the best times we ever had. Those moments still made me laugh my asses off when I think of them especially how we bullied Melvin "CHER, MELVIN TAPAO!".

Those Exploremaths teachers were like the best teachers too but so sad that two of them + one of our exploremaths buddies left on the same year. Sighs* Was it you who said the guy sir got "tummy" now? I forgot the sir name. I still remembered how you and your classmates made fun of him. Alamak. There was this night when the four of us (try to recall who're the other two) stayed up the whole night chatting and the song 'Lonely' becomes special to us since then.

Maybe we didn't have so many good memorises after that year because you're in the morning whereas I'm in the afternoon but we still contact and remain close until today. I still had the biodata book which I asked my primary 6 classmates and you to write. I wonder if your handwriting still the same. It was so small. My friend said, people who have small handwriting means they're shy and timid. Are you shy and timid? I don't think so. no offense. =p

Just to tell you that no matter how busy I am right now (since PMB coming soon), you're still my brader yeah. You can text/phone me anytime except during my school time cause I don't bring phone to school. Oh yes, I'm a kuai kia. =p I'm not like those jerks who abandon or forget about old friend when I've a new friend okay?

Fun fun fun!

Happy 15th Birthday, Wati. ;)

We didn't do anything fun during Malay periods.
Computer periods, I was sitting in between PJ's Nutties and Nisah. It was quite creepy sitting in between both of them. You must be wondering why. It is because just now I asked a question "What's merapatkan hubungan in English?" They looked at each other and it was like, they can communicate in their bodies. Like those, I don't know how to explain lah and I hope you get what I mean. HAHA.
Science periods, we did marking. PJ's Nutties and I sat in front but different bench. Nutties on the left and Im on the right. I called Nutties and julur ( julur means =P) at Nutties. Then quickly looked away. I turned to her direction and smiled at Zatul since Zatul was smiling at me but Nutties got the chance to julur me back IN FRONT OF the teacher! How cool huh?

After a while, Muna and I julur at Nutties back. Nutties suddenly went to my back and wanted to poke me or something but I didn't turn back. It was so scary lah the feeling. "JANGAN PANDANG BELAKANG" remember this. HAHA! Luckily teacher saved my life. Teacher was like,"What're you doing there? What's wrong with both of you?" Nutties quickly ran back to the seat. MWAHAHAHAHA (6)

During CCA, we non-Malays were told me in some rooms while the Malays were in auditorium for tadarus. Sharleen, Jenny, Vien, Shayee, Han, Claudia, MELVIN and I had fun. We played a few games. It felt like it was back to last year. We laughed so loud and shouted like no teachers there. HAHA. So cool. Teachers didn't care also. Thanks, teachers =D

I had Science extra class later in the class. I accidentally drank water without realizing it's puasa. Sheesh. Sorry, people. I wasn't purposely. My lips was going to bleed or something so I just drank it without thinking it's puasa. Hehe.

Bull*tut*

I've done my Science homework. HAHA! I know it's no surprise but still I'm so lazy and I still do it. EHSEH! Okay, stop crap-ing.

School school school.
I went to visit kaka and Jane early in the morning with Shayee. They're so busy as usual. What can we do? Two MPs we're talking about leh. I had Geography. It was boring because no one was allowed to talk. A few friends were whispering and teacher moved them to other places. Sighs* And the air-con so cold lah.

Science - we just did markings. PJ's Nutties, you really are a Science geek who answers teacher's questions all the time. Tsktsk.

Maths - Revision test. Well, we'll be having revision tests till holidays? Uh huhs. Quite scary lah altho it's revision test only. You don't mess with my teacher. HAHA!

English - did nothing. wait, we marked our papers (duh!) and free periods - talking or reading.

PE - played Uno and taught friends how to play bull*tut*. I know it's hard but you'll get used to it.

After school, saw Sharleen. She said, she played Heartattack just now during PE. She and I are having PE on the same day but different periods lah. She's one of the bull*tut* players. She even said, they tried to play bull*tut* but not as fun as before. I told her, why didn't you get me out of the class jus now? HAHA! =p

Oh yeah, here's the part. When Sharleen and I were talking about the bull*tut*. I accidentally said,"BULLSHIT!" so loud and a teacher was there. She looked at me and said,"I heard *tut* *tut*." I know her. Wait, kinda know her. A nice teacher. :D Sharleen and I laughed after that. HAHA! =p Until now, I still can't believe, I didn't stop myself saying that bull word that time. I'm so cool.

Happy Fasting

I've this weird attitude which is :-

• If the next day is holiday, I'll sleep early.

• If the next day is school day, I'll sleep late.

So, today is the first day of Ramadhan. It is also the first day fasting for the Muslims.

I woke up at 8 something, got out of my bed at 9am. What made me got up so early? XBOX! I'm so into it these days. If you don't believe, ask my classmates or try it out yourself. How? Easy to do it. Just ask me,"What are you going to do after school?" or you don't even have to ask, I'll say,"Yay! Karang aku main XBOX!"

To my disappointment, when I opened my room's door, I heard tv sound from downstairs = mom was watching tv. So I just made myself a cup of coffee and continued reading my Shopaholic & Baby book. For a while, mom no longer watching and I played GTA (again) until lunch time which was almost 1pm.

I ate lunch while watching my old VCDs which I used to watch when I was young. I got bored and went to shower. At 2.16pm, I came online. I played Burger Island while chatting. Today, I read One Piece manga! Gosh~ I've missed out a lot if brader didn't say anything abt it. I miss it so much and I still love Luffy =D HAHA!

I ate dinner. I watched tv again while doing my Science homework. Now I'm back to here again. See, that's how my life. Wake up => Xbox => PC => TV => PC / Xbox => PC (if I played Xbox before this). Sighs. I've no life. HAHA APAKAN! So EMO!

I was hoping to have holiday today but it turned out to be tomorrow but still yay! tomorrow is holiday! =D

I went to school. Nutties is having muscles pain. KESIAN. =p Get well soon. I got the result back for Qualifying Exam but it won't be on our report. I mean, it will but it's 70% of qualifying, 20% of topical tests we had this year and 10% of our homeworks.

Here's the part which Nutties wants to know.
I came home. I showered. I ate my lunch and I played Xbox straightaway. What game? Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I'm just so addicted to the game, I don't know why. Next, I'm here and I got forced to update my blog by who? N U T T I E S! NUTTIES.
